Il film, come ci si aspettava, ha sbancato i botteghini sia in Italia che negli USA, e nel primo weekend di proiezione ha permesso ai produttori di rientrare ampiamente dei costi. Ovviamente, per ogni successo cinematografico che si rispetti, c'è dietro l'angolo il fantasma della parodia e Twilight non fa eccezione: gira infatti in rete in questi giorni un video intitolato Dwilight, molto divertente, che prende in giro con intelligenza ed ironia il fenomeno cinematografico del momento.
